Kuala Sepetang Mangrove Park is part of the
Matang Mangrove Forest Reserve and is internationally well known as a mangrove
conservation area.
It was formerly known as Port Weld which was named after the governor Federick Weld.

Besides that, Kuala Sepetang is a rural village in
Taiping, Perak, which is well known as a must-go place if you are craving for Mee Udang (prawn noodles).
"Mee Udang Mak Jah" (Mak Jah’s Prawn Noodles)- one of the famous prawn noodles stalls Kuala Sepetang.
It is a 2 hours drive from Kampar, Perak to Kuala Sepetang.
You can easily notice the location of Mak Jah Mee Udang thanks to the signboard when you are about to approach Kuala Sepetang.

It is absolutely irresistable by when you first give a try on the soup.
Its level of spice is acceptable.
The shrimps are bouncy in texture and are well cooked to retain its freshness, and it's where the essence of the soup is from.

The fresh and juicy prawns plus the crispy coating of tempura flour are already awesome, but you should really try to dip into the gravy of Mee Udang, you will definitely run out of words to describe the taste.
